Mark McWilliams, along with his brother Ben, oversees day-to-day operations at Arista. He manages sales, marketing, and grower relations. Mark and his wife Jennifer are also busy raising their four children in Healdsburg.
Ben McWilliams, alongside his brother Mark, is responsible for running the day-to-day operations at Arista. He directly oversees all hospitality and estate activities. Ben and his wife Tatiana live in Healdsburg with their daughter, Mila.
Matt Courtney is winemaker at Arista. Matt oversees all production and winery activities. He works hand in hand with our vineyard management team to orchestrate the time of all vineyard activities to achieve maximum potential from each of our distinct vineyard sites.
Gordon Miller is the assistant winemaker at Arista. He has over a decade of winemaking experience in Sonoma County including at Peter Michael Winery, Rochioli Winery and Marcassin Vineyards. Gordon has worked alongside Matt Courtney since 2008.
Cory is the cellar master at Arista. He spent 13 years working alongside viticultural luminaries such as Dr. Alfred Cass and Dr. Paul Anamosa, as well as at Lancaster Estate and Marcassin Vineyards. In addition to his cellar responsibilities, Cory plays an active role on our viticulture team.
Andy joined our cellar team beginning with the 2013 harvest. Prior to Arista, Andy spent harvests working for David Ramey and Fred Scherrer in Sonoma County. Before his winemaking career Andy spent several years as a wine buyer for Bob’s Steakhouse in Dallas, Texas.
Ray joined Arista for the harvest of 2013 and quickly became an integral part of our team and has contributed significantly to our success. Prior to Arista, Ray worked in the cellar at Kosta Browne Winery in Sebastopol, CA.
Carlos Flores is our estate grounds keeper. He is responsible for keeping the property in peak condition – no small task! Carlos began working for the McWilliams family in 1998, making him the most tenured member of our team.
Kim Lapides is Arista’s A-List Concierge. Whether she is facilitating seasonal allocations or arranging winery visits, Kim loves hearing from our customers.
Timothy Kaulfers is our executive chef. In addition to preparing incredible dishes for our Pavilion guests, he also oversees our organic farm and estate gardening operation. Prior to joining our team, Tim was a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in St. Helena California and spent three years working at Chef Charlie Palmer’s Dry Creek Kitchen in Healdsburg, California.
Kingsley Fuller is our sous-chef. She has more than 10-years experience in fine dining establishments including The Herbfarm in Woodinville, Washington, Cyrus in Healdsburg, California, and Manresa in Los Gatos, California.
Meredith Kanbergs is our events manager. Meredith was thrilled to find her passion for art and design could be combined with winery related events for what has become her dream job - coordinating weddings and events at Arista.
Taylor Pacurar is our events coordinator, working alongside Meredith. Taylor loves the day-to-day interactions she is able to have with couples as they plan their weddings at Arista.
Coco the Labrador is possibly the most well known of the Arista family and has been featured in many winery dog books. He has also built a strong reputation for persuading unsuspecting picnickers to hand over the goods.
