On the edge of the towns of Graton and Occidental lies the Lucky Well Vineyard. Planted and managed by Ulises Valdez this vineyard is positioned on one of the most breathtaking sites in Sonoma County. The physical location of the of the vineyard is just a few miles inland from the Pacific Ocean. The vineyard is located on a gentle knoll that rises above the dense fog layer that blankets this part of the county. This slight rise in elevation keeps the vineyard above the fog to maximize sunlight exposure but cool enough to prolong the growing season. Ulises farms 4 acres of the vineyard specifically for us which is planted to a combination of Calera, Swan, and Pommard.
