| 2004 Longbow Pinot Noir | ||||
![]() The Longbow paints a perfect picture for the essence of Pinot Noir. Considered to be one of the most difficult weapons to master, the Longbow has always be viewed with awe and respect by anyone that has encountered it because of it's power, focus, and versitility. Pinot Noir fits this decription; difficult to grow, difficult to produce, inspiring to drink. With patience, dilligence, and dedication of both grower and winemaker, Pinot Noir can be the most respected of all wines. A rich, floral nose filled with rose perals and violets coupled with a gentle, toasty cedar and pumpkin pie spice. This wine is the softer, more feminine sister to our "Longbow" Pinot Noir. Earthy ripe blackberry and cranberry flavors are complimented with supple, velvety tannins adding character and finesse to this complex wine. In it's youth, open this wine in advance to allow all of the layers of fruit and spice fully show theselves. Patience will be rewarded as this wine will continue to develope over the next 3 to 4 years. SOLD OUT 220 Cases Produced |
