APPELLATION WINES

2008 Longbow Pinot Noir

Our flagship wine, the 2008 Longbow Pinot Noir opens with rich, dark fruit aromas. The specially chosen French Oak barrels accentuate the dark fruit with subtle, smoky layer. On the palate, the perfectly integrated oak lends sweet and spicy flavors to this already bold, full bodied Pinot. Velvety tannins are interlaced with huge flavors of black cherry, licorice and bacon. Jammy notes in the background are accentuated by cedary, creamy new French oak. Muscular and elegant now but will continue to gain complexity and dimension with cellaring.

2008 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

The 2008 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir leads with aromas of dark fruit and soft, earthy elements. The gentle use of French Oak lends aromas of smoke or cigar box. On the palate, the silky tannins and dark fruit characterize this elegant yet powerful wine. Similar flavors of dark cherry and pomegranate coat the palate. French oak gently adds structure and interest to layers of nutmeg, plum, sassafras and cola notes and eventually leads to a pleasantly long finish.

2008 Sonoma County Pinot Noir

Meant to be a go-to, everyday Pinot Noir, the 2008 Sonoma County blend begins with ripe plum and stone fruit aromas as well as subtle spice like nutmeg or sandalwood. A refined and silky wine with delicate flavors of licorice, dry cherries, orange zest, and cola. The wine has a medium body or weight on the palate. Long hang time in our cool climate is evidenced by the rich and textured layers of tannins and fruit. Elegant and balanced, this wine is ready to drink upon release.
