Russian River Valley
The Bacigalupi family has been farming grapes in the heart of the Russian River Valley for over 50 years. Located off the famed Westside Road just west of the town of Healdsburg, the Bacigalupi vineyard has become know for consistently producing world class Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Zinfandel.
The Pinot Noir grapes are grown in soils, varying from rocky red clays to well-drained rocky volcanic loams. There is a small block beside the Russian River, but the majority of the vineyards are planted in the rolling hills to the west. The combination of the soil structure and the hillsides provide for optimal growing conditions. Six distinct pinot noir clones are grown on approximately 44 acres. We’ve chosen to work with Swan, Wente, Pommard and 115 clones for our vineyard designate Bacigalupi Pinot Noir.
